Annapurna Rice Mills

Annapurna Rice Mills is based on Kotli Road over in Mour Mandi. We are right in the neighborhood of Ganpati Seeds Farm and Partap Spintax, so there is always a lot of industrial activity going on around us. Running a rice mill is a tough job that involves a lot of sweat and dust. We start our days early before the sun is even fully up to get the machines ready. Our location on Kotli Road is convenient for the trucks that come in to drop off raw grain or pick up the processed bags. We don't have a polished front office or a receptionist; if you come by, you'll probably find us out on the floor with everyone else. It is a very hands-on business, and we are usually covered in some amount of dirt by the time the day ends. We don't have a big mission statement or any fancy slogans. We just focus on the rice and making sure the mill stays in good working order. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common enough around Mour Mandi, and we just have to wait it out. We've been here for several years now, and we've seen other businesses come and go, but we've managed to stick around. It is an honest way to make a living, and we take pride in the work we do here.
