Shau Metal Traders is our place in the Main Market of Jajpur Kuakhia. We are situated very close to the bus stand, so you can always hear the engines and the conductors calling out. It is a busy spot, and there are always people coming and going from the villages around here. Our shop is a practical space where we keep all kinds of metal supplies. It isn't a fancy store with glass windows. The floor is concrete and we have heavy metal items stacked up everywhere. It can get a bit noisy when we are unloading a new truck, but that’s just part of the business. We don't have a big team of people. It’s just a few of us handling the orders and making sure everything is correct. The dust from the market can get inside, so we spend time cleaning the surfaces every morning. We don't have a website or do any fancy promotions. People who need metal usually just walk in because they saw us while waiting for their bus. It is a simple setup that has worked for us for a long time. Jajpur Kuakhia is a good place to be, and the market is always full of life. We just open up the gates in the morning and stay until the last bus leaves. It’s a straightforward way to make a living.
