Inside, there’s a lot of talk about tonnages and delivery dates. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anyone to open the door for you. You just walk in and talk to whoever is sitting at the desk. Most of us have been around here for years, so we know the local contractors and the guys who drive the trucks. The weather can get pretty humid, so the ceiling fans are always going at full speed. We keep our records in big folders and on an old computer that sometimes takes its time to start up. It’s an honest way to spend the day, making sure the stainless steel gets where it needs to go. We don't spend money on big advertisements or polished signs. People know where we are if they need us. Sometimes we share a meal in the back room while discussing the day’s problems. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to do a decent job with the steel business. We don't need things to be complicated.
