About Ninl Blast Furnase – Metals & Minerals in Jajapur
Our spot is at Kanak Niwas, which is tucked right behind the Shivmandir in Kanheipur, Jajpur Rd. Being so close to the temple means we get to hear the prayers every day, which is a nice contrast to the heavy work of the Ninl Blast Furnase. We are based in the Jajpur district of Orissa, and it’s a busy, industrial kind of place to be. The office isn't very large, and it can get quite hot when the wind blows from the furnace area. We have a lot of people coming in to check their shift schedules or to drop off reports. The furniture is mostly old wood and metal, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We don’t really mind, though, as long as the work gets done and the records stay straight. The road out front is often crowded with trucks and people, especially during the festival times when the temple is busy. We keep a few coolers running to help with the heat, but they’re pretty loud. Most of us have lived in Orissa all our lives, so we’re used to the pace of things here. It’s honest work and we don't try to make it sound like anything else. We spend our days managing the logistics and making sure the furnace operations have what they need from this side of things. It’s just our daily routine in a very busy part of town.
