Zeste

Zeste is located at 13 Tonk Road, right near Imli Phatak. If you stand outside our door, you can see the railway line just opposite us. The sound of the trains passing by is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. It’s a bit of a landmark for people trying to find us. We don’t spend a lot of time on decorations or making the front look like a mall. It’s a practical space where we get things done. Tonk Road is always crowded, so there’s always noise and people moving about. We open the shutters in the morning and start going through whatever is on the list for the day. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, but we just sweep it out and keep going. Being opposite the railway line means we get a lot of travelers passing through, though most of our regulars are from the nearby neighborhoods. Zeste isn't some giant corporation. It’s just a place where work happens. We handle our daily tasks without much fuss. If you’re looking for us, look for the spot near Imli Phatak where the traffic slows down. We’ve been here long enough that the postman doesn't even have to look at the number 13 anymore. We just do what we do and try to get home before the evening rush hour makes the road impossible to cross.
