Dil Dosti Chai

We are located in the basement of Prem Plaza over in Vaishali Nagar. It’s 9/7 if you’re looking for the exact number on the door. Being near Akshardham Mandir means we get a lot of people walking by after their visit to the temple. Dil Dosti Chai was started because we felt like there weren't enough places where you could just hang out with your friends for hours over a cup of tea. In Jaipur, chai is a big deal and we take it seriously but without being snobby about it. The basement stays cool even when the Rajasthan heat is hitting hard outside. We have some low seating and the lighting is a bit dim to keep it cozy. It’s a great spot for students to come and gossip or even study a bit. We don't chase people out if they finish their tea quickly. You can stay as long as you like. We serve different kinds of snacks like biscuits and parathas that go well with the tea. The staff is mostly young and we like to play music that we enjoy. It’s a very laid back vibe here. Sometimes the drain in the plaza acts up but we manage to keep things clean. It’s just a local tea shop for friends to meet up and relax. We didn't want a place that felt like a formal office or a stiff restaurant. It’s just about tea and friendship.
