Wecan Kindersley

Down at Plot No.58 in Kidwai Nagar, you’ll find us tucked away near Imli Phatak. Wecan Kindersley is a place where things are always a bit noisy, mostly because we have young children running around all the time. Being here in Jaipur means we deal with the traffic and the busy streets nearby, but once you get inside the gate, it’s its own little world. We’ve got colorful walls that might need a touch-up here and there, but the kids don't seem to care about that. Every morning is a bit of a rush getting everyone settled. We spend a lot of time sitting on the floor, playing with blocks, or trying to get the kids to finish their snacks without making a huge mess. It’s not a quiet job, that’s for sure. The staff here are mostly local people who have been with us for a while. We know which kid likes which toy and who’s likely to get a bit cranky before nap time. It feels less like a big institution and more like a house where a lot of people happen to be learning things. We see parents coming from all over the 302015 area to drop their little ones off. Sometimes we have tea in the back office when things calm down for a minute. It’s just a simple setup, really. We do our best to keep the day moving along until it’s time for everyone to go home.
