Indo Kids Academy

Indo Kids Academy is located at numbers 33 and 34 on Ajmer Road here in Jaipur. It’s a busy part of the city, and the traffic outside can be quite a lot during the morning and afternoon hours. We took over these two plots to make a space for the little ones to come and spend their day. The building is painted in bright colors, though the Rajasthan sun and the dust from the road mean we have to touch it up more often than we’d like. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of kids playing and some music from the activity rooms. We have a small outdoor area, but since we are right on Ajmer Road, we have to keep the gates shut tight for safety. It’s a very local operation; the parents are usually people who live in the nearby colonies or work in the shops around here. We don't have a big corporate board or fancy brochures. Most of our toys and furniture are just standard things you’d find in any home with children. Sometimes things get messy with paint or spilled snacks, but that is just how it goes with kids. The staff is mostly made up of women from the neighborhood who have been with us for a few years. We just try to keep a steady schedule and make sure every child gets home safely when the day is done. It’s loud, it’s a bit chaotic, but it is what we do every day.
