Vinayak Ispat

Vinayak Ispat is situated deep in the Vishwakarma Industrial Area on Road No. 14. Our specific unit is E-823A. If you have ever been down Road 14, you know it is all heavy industry and metalwork. The sound of banging and grinding is pretty much the background music to our lives here. It is hot, especially near the back where the sun hits the metal roof. We move a lot of heavy stuff around, so the floor is all scratched up and there is iron dust on almost every surface. Our office is a small room partitioned off from the main work floor, but the noise still gets in. We spend our time checking weights and looking at order sheets. There is nothing fancy about E-823A. It is a place of grease, metal, and hard work. We have a big gate that stays open most of the day to let the trucks in and out. Sometimes the traffic on the industrial roads gets backed up, which makes it hard to get anything delivered on time. We just deal with it as it comes. We are usually covered in a bit of grime by the end of the shift, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. It is a tough environment but it is what we know, and we just keep the machines running.
