Vinayak Traders

This version of Vinayak Traders is over at Shop No.38, right by the Hanuman Mandir in Ashok Nagar. It’s a decent spot, especially because everyone in town knows where the temple is. We’ve been operating out of this small shop for several years now. It gets quite crowded on Tuesdays when people come to the temple for prayers, so we usually have to keep the front area clear so people can pass. Inside, it’s mostly shelves packed with whatever we’re trading at the moment. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a counter, an old ledger, and me. My son comes by in the evenings after his classes to help with the heavy stuff or to run errands. The building is a bit old, and the shutters can be a bit cranky when I open them in the morning, but it’s home for us. We know most of the people in Ashok Nagar by name. They stop in to see what’s new or just to say hello while they’re out on their daily errands. We don't spend money on fancy marketing because word of mouth works much better for us anyway in this area. It’s a simple life, really. We buy things, we sell them, and we try to make sure we don’t run out of the popular items people ask for. If we don’t have something, we try to help them find it.
