We are located in the Karni Complex, which is out on Road No 14 in the Vkia area. It is over in Muralipura. If you have been to this part of the industrial area, you know it is always humming with activity. Our shop is just one of many in the complex. We mostly deal with bearings and different hardware bits that people need for their machinery. The shelves are usually packed with boxes, and it can look a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time helping people who come in looking for a specific part. Sometimes it is a quick fix, and other times they need something we have to dig for. The dust from the road outside usually finds its way in, so we are always cleaning things off. It is a no-frills kind of place. We don't have air conditioning or fancy chairs, just a counter and the stock. Vkia is a big place, and being on Road No 14 keeps us right in the middle of things. We see a lot of the same faces every week, mostly mechanics and factory workers from nearby. It is a tough environment sometimes with the heat and the noise, but we have gotten used to it. We just keep the door open and wait for the next person to walk in with a part that needs replacing. It is just what we do to get by.
