Vikram Tours

Our office is G-4 on Sansar Chandra Road. It is a street that never seems to go quiet, which is fine by us. Vikram Tours has been here for a good while, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the traffic outside. The space is a bit cramped because of all the folders and registers we keep, but it works. I usually get in early to open the shutters and start the computer. It takes a while to boot up. We handle a lot of local trips and some longer ones too. We don't have a marketing team or anything polished. It’s just me and a couple of others who know the roads well. If you come by, you’ll probably see us drinking tea and looking at a map spread out on the main table. We try to be honest about which hotels are actually good and which ones just have nice photos. Sometimes things go wrong, like a bus being late, and we spend the whole afternoon on the phone trying to sort it out. That’s just how this business is. We don't make big promises we can't keep. We just try to help people figure out their travel plans without making it too complicated. Sansar Chandra Road is a good spot for us because everyone passes through here eventually. We like the local vibe and knowing the other shopkeepers around us. It makes the long days feel a bit shorter. There is always someone dropping in for a chat or to ask about directions.
