You can find us over near Shipra Path and Swarn Path in Mansarovar. Jai Ambe Travels has been operating out of this area for a good while. We spend a lot of time on our phones or looking at maps. Most of our day is spent coordinating where the cars need to be and making sure the drivers are ready for early morning pickups. Mansarovar is big, and the traffic around Shipra Path can be a real headache sometimes, so we have to plan things out. We don’t have a fleet of gold-plated limos or anything like that. It’s just regular cars that we try to keep clean and running well. Sometimes a battery dies or a tire goes flat, and we have to scramble to fix it. That’s just the nature of the travel business. We have a few regulars who call us whenever they need to go to the station or the airport. We know the shortcuts around the neighborhood pretty well by now. It’s not a glamorous job, sitting in the office waiting for the next call, but it’s what we do. We try to be straightforward with people about how long it’ll take for a car to reach them. No point in lying about the traffic or the weather. We just keep the keys on the hook and stay ready to drive whenever the phone rings. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here near Shipra Path.
