We are located at G1/270 in the Epip part of Sitapuraindustrial Area. If you know the area, it’s where all the garment and export stuff happens. Our space isn't huge, but it's where we spend most of our time. There are sewing machines running for most of the day, so there’s always a hum in the background. We usually have piles of fabric sitting around on the cutting tables. Sometimes the thread gets everywhere, and we have to spend the last hour of the day just sweeping it all up. It’s a busy place, especially when a big order is due. We don't really do the whole fancy fashion show thing. It’s more about getting the stitching right and making sure the pieces look okay before they go out the door. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but it has to be so we can see what we’re doing with the needles. Most of us have worked together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to know what needs doing next. We take our lunch breaks together in the small area out back. It’s just a regular workshop where we make clothes. Nothing too complicated about it. We just show up and do the work, day after day. The industrial area can be loud, but we’re used to it by now.
