V & V Hardware

You can find V & V Hardware at 274 in Guru Nanak Pura, which is part of the Raja Park area. Raja Park is a nice place with a lot going on and many people walking around. Our shop is a typical hardware store where you can find nails, hammers, paint, and all that kind of stuff. We have been serving the local residents here for quite some time. It is a family-run kind of place. We aren't like those big warehouse stores; we are much smaller and more personal with our customers. If someone is fixing a leak or painting a room, they walk over to see us and get what they need. The shop can get a bit cramped because we try to fit so much inventory onto the shelves for people. We have everything from plumbing supplies to small hand tools. My brother and I usually handle the counter and talk to everyone who comes in. We talk to the neighbors and hear all the local news. It’s a friendly atmosphere in Guru Nanak Pura. We don't use any corporate talk or have a mission statement. We just sell hardware at fair prices to the people who live around here. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the people go by outside. Other days we are so busy we don't even have time to eat lunch until late. It’s a good life and we are happy to be part of this community.
