Uttarakhand Tourism has an office at M I Road, specifically at Government Hostel 20. It’s a well-known spot on a very busy road, so most people don't have any trouble finding us. We’ve been based in this building for quite a while, and it feels like a permanent part of the landscape here. The office itself is pretty functional, filled with brochures and desks where we handle all the tourism inquiries. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular government-style office where we work on promoting travel to the state. We get a lot of people walking in asking for directions or help with their travel plans. We spend a lot of time answering questions and making sure people have the right information before they head out. There’s always a bit of a buzz in the air since M I Road is such a main artery for the city. We aren't here to give you a big sales pitch or anything. We just provide the facts and help with the paperwork when it’s needed. It’s a lot of administrative work, but it’s important for keeping things running smoothly. Most days are spent at our desks, talking to visitors or updating our records. If you’re ever near the Government Hostel on M I Road, you can see our sign.
