Uttam Travels

You can find us over at Chanda Plaza, which is in the Jagat Vihar area of Jagatpura. It is a decent spot, though the plaza itself can get a bit crowded during the middle of the day. We have a small office here where we handle all the travel bookings and car arrangements. There is usually a map pinned to the wall that is starting to curl at the edges, and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We spend a lot of hours on the phone talking to drivers or trying to find the best way for someone to get across the state. It is a lot of coordination, and sometimes things do not go exactly as planned, but we stay here until it is sorted out. People from the neighborhood often drop in just to ask about prices or to see if we have a vehicle free for the weekend. We don't have any fancy brochures or a big waiting lounge. It is mostly just us sitting around the table with some registers and a mobile phone that never stops ringing. The parking around Chanda Plaza is a bit tight, so we usually tell people to come early if they want to talk in person. We have been in Jagatpura for long enough that we know most of the shortcuts and the best places for the drivers to stop for food. It is just a regular local travel desk where we try to keep things moving as best as we can.
