We are located at J-10-A in Sharma Colony, which is right in the 22 Godam area of Jaipur. It’s an interesting spot because it’s so central. You can hear the trains sometimes and the industrial feel of the area is always there in the background. Our office is tucked away in the colony, so it’s a bit quieter than the main road, which we actually like. It’s a pretty basic setup—some tables, chairs, and a lot of folders full of schedules. We started out here because it was convenient, and we just stayed. The people working here are mostly locals who live nearby or have a short commute. We don’t have any fancy titles or anything like that. We just come in, check what’s on the list for the day, and get started. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but that’s just part of life in this part of town. We spend a lot of time coordinating with different people across the city. It involves a lot of back-and-forth and making sure everyone is on the same page. When things get stressful, we usually take a break and walk down the street to clear our heads. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s ours. We’ve been in 22 Godam long enough to know the shortcuts and where to get the best snacks in the afternoon.
