Our office for Thethi Tours & Travels is in the Ambabari neighborhood at C-4. It’s a pretty quiet residential area compared to the city center. We spend most of the day on the phone or looking at schedules on the computer. There are maps pinned to the walls and stacks of brochures that need to be handed out. We have a couple of desks and some chairs for people who come in to talk about their trips. It’s not a very big space, but it works for what we do. Outside, the street is usually lined with trees, so it stays a bit cooler. We handle a lot of different travel arrangements for people going all over the place. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when a lot of bookings come in at once. We have to keep track of a lot of details like dates and times. It’s mostly just us sitting here and making sure everything is lined up right. We’ve been in Ambabari for a while now, and people in the area know our name. We don’t have a flashy storefront. It’s just a regular office where we do our work and try to keep everything organized. Sometimes the internet is slow, and that makes things a bit difficult, but we get through it. It’s a steady kind of job, and we’re here most days from morning until evening. The small balcony outside gets sun in the morning, where we usually take our tea breaks.
