Swastik Steel Traders

We are located at H-50 in Patel Nagar 3Rd. Swastik Steel Traders is a fairly straightforward business. We deal with steel all day long, which means a lot of lifting and moving heavy stuff around. Patel Nagar is a crowded area, so getting the delivery trucks in and out of the narrow streets can be a real challenge sometimes. Our shop is packed with stock from floor to ceiling. There is not a lot of room to walk around once a new shipment arrives. We spend a lot of time checking the weights and making sure the orders are right. The walls are a bit scuffed from years of moving metal pipes and sheets. It’s a family-run kind of feel here, even if we aren't all related. We know the regulars who come in every week. There is a small desk where we do the billing, and it’s usually covered in pens and old receipts. We don't have air conditioning, so we just leave the main shutter open to get a breeze. It is noisy and dirty, but that is the nature of the steel trade. We aren't trying to be anything special. We just open up in the morning, sell what we have, and close up when the sun goes down. It is a basic way to make a living, and it keeps us occupied.
