Swaastik Buildsquare LLP is tucked away at number 374 in Prem Nagar, over in the Jagatpura area of Jaipur. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s been changing a lot lately with all the new buildings going up. We are right in the middle of that change. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep our files and meet with the guys who do the actual digging and laying of bricks. We started this because we saw a lot of folks needing decent places to stay or work around here. It’s a lot of coordination, making sure the sand arrives and the cement is the right grade. Rajasthan heat can be brutal on the workers, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the day. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy emails. We just use simple English and tell people what's possible and what isn't. Sometimes things go wrong, like a supplier forgetting an order, and we have to scramble to fix it. That's just life in the building trade. We like being in Jagatpura because it feels like the future of Jaipur is happening right here. We’re just a local outfit trying to make sure the buildings we put our name on are solid and stay standing for a long time. It isn't easy work, but we like it.
