Shagun Properties

Shagun Properties is right there at the bus stand in Rampura Dabri on Jaitpura Jahota Road. It’s a very busy spot because of all the buses and people moving around all day long. Our office is small and honestly, it gets quite dusty because of the road being so close. We keep a fan running all the time to try and stay cool, but it doesn't always help much in the peak of summer. We mostly deal with local land and houses around this part of the country. It’s not a fancy office with air conditioning and glass walls, just a basic room with some desks and a couple of plastic chairs for visitors. We spend a lot of time talking to the drivers and the people who live nearby. Shagun Properties has been a part of this bus stand area for a while. Usually, there’s some tea being passed around in the afternoon. We have a lot of maps pinned to the walls that are starting to yellow at the edges. It’s a lot of manual work, writing things down in ledgers and keeping track of who is selling what. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside on the bench until it comes back on. It’s a simple life here on Jaitpura Jahota Road. We just do our work and go home when the sun sets over Rampura Dabri. There isn't much more to it than that.
