Sushil Harware Store

Sushil Harware Store is right on Vidhyadhar Nagar Road Number 1, just off Sikar Road. It’s a busy intersection and the sound of horns honking is constant. Inside the store, it’s a bit quieter but still plenty hectic. Hammers, pipes, nails, and all sorts of building supplies are stacked up on the shelves. Some of the bins haven't been moved in a long time, so they have a bit of age on them. We know where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to a stranger. People come in from the main road when they are working on their houses nearby. A lot of time is spent measuring things out or cutting wires to the right length. It’s honest work and it keeps our hands busy. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s hot outside. No air conditioning is installed, just a big ceiling fan that wobbles a little. Most days are spent helping people find the right size of screw or a specific wrench. It’s not the kind of place you come to hang out, you come here to get what you need for a job. Closing up happens when the sun goes down and the traffic on Sikar Road starts to thin out. It’s just a regular hardware store for regular people doing work. We try to keep the stock full so nobody leaves empty handed.
