We are over on the second floor of 74-A in Gaurav Nagar. It's right in the Civil Lines area of Jaipur. Most days, it's just us here managing the contracting work. SURAJKANWAR CONTRACTORS PRIVATE LIMITED has been around for a bit now. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at different sites. The office is usually a bit messy with papers. Jaipur gets really hot in the summer, so the AC in the office is a life saver. We handle various projects across the city. People know where to find us. It's a straightforward setup. We don't have fancy receptionists or anything like that. Just some desks and chairs. We usually grab lunch from a nearby spot. My cousin sometimes helps out with the accounts. It’s a busy place. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Construction is hard work but it keeps us going. Most of our tools and stuff are kept elsewhere, but this is where the planning happens. If you're walking around Gaurav Nagar, you'll see our sign. It's nothing special but it works. We deal with suppliers and laborers every single day. Some days are longer than others. That's just how the business is. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it's a bit chaotic with all the deadlines. Rajasthan is a big place and we travel around quite a bit for the work.
