Sunlight Gartex is located at 29007 in Vidhyadhar Nagar. It’s a decent-sized place, but it always feels a bit cramped because of all the fabric we have lying around. There are rolls of cloth in every color you can think of, piled up against the walls. The sound of the sewing machines is the soundtrack to our day. It’s a constant rhythmic hum that you eventually stop noticing. We have a lot of people working here, mostly sitting at their stations and focusing on the garments. It gets pretty busy around the holidays or when a big order comes in. The air is always full of tiny bits of lint, so we try to keep the windows open when the weather allows it. We don’t have a fancy office for the managers; everyone is pretty much on the floor together. It’s a very practical environment. We have our tea breaks in the afternoon, and that’s when the place finally gets a bit of quiet. We’ve been operating in Vidhyadhar Nagar for quite a while, so we know most of the other businesses around here. We aren't trying to be some high-end fashion house. We just make clothes and try to keep everything running smoothly. The floors are always covered in thread and scraps, but that’s just a sign that we are getting things done.
