Sukhpal Singh Construction Private Limited is located at Flat No. 102 on the first floor of the Pukhraj-Jasmine building in New Colony. It’s a residential-feeling spot, which actually makes it quite comfortable to work in every day. We aren't in one of those cold glass towers you see in the city center. Our office has a bit of a homey vibe to it. We deal with construction projects, but our base of operations is this small flat. There’s usually a pot of tea going and some papers spread out across the big table we use as a desk. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and checking on various local sites. It’s a family-style environment here. We don't have strict rules about every little thing. As long as the work gets done and the buildings are solid, we are happy. Sometimes neighbors from the building pop in to say hello or ask how we are doing. It’s that kind of place. We’ve been in New Colony for a bit, and we like the community. Our team is small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. One day I might be doing the books, and the next day I’m out looking at concrete. It keeps things interesting for us. We don't have a grand vision statement or anything like that. We just focus on the project we have right now. It’s about doing the job properly without making a big fuss. That’s just our way of working.
