Sr Iron & Steel Broker is over at S219 Unnati Tower in Vidhyadhar Nagar Sec-2. It is a tall building and we are up on the second floor. Working in the iron and steel business means a lot of phone calls and a lot of tracking market prices. It’s not a job where you get your hands dirty with the actual metal most days, but it is still hard work. We act as the middle link, making sure the buyers and the sellers find each other. The office in Unnati Tower is usually full of the sound of people talking on their mobiles. Vidhyadhar Nagar is a busy area, but being up in the tower gives us a little bit of a break from the street noise. We have been doing this brokerage for a long time. It is all about knowing who has what and who needs it right now. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the steel market inside and out. We drink a lot of tea and stay late when the deals are moving fast. It’s a practical office with plenty of files and maps on the wall. We don't go in for fancy decorations or expensive chairs. As long as the phones work and the records are clear, we are happy. People know us for being straight about the rates. We just try to do a good job and keep the trade moving in the city.
