Sogani Fashions Jaipur Llp is based in the RIICO Industrial Area in Sitapura. Our unit is G557. If you’ve ever been to Sitapura, you know it’s a massive place with factories everywhere. It’s quite a dusty area because of all the construction and the trucks constantly moving back and forth. Our building is a sturdy concrete structure that handles the heat reasonably well. Inside, it’s mostly open space where the garments are handled. We have rows of workstations and a large area for quality checks. It isn't the kind of place you’d come for a fancy tour. It’s a working factory where people are busy with fabric rolls and sewing kits. The noise of the machines is pretty much constant from nine to six. We drink a lot of water because it gets stuffy inside, even with the big industrial fans going. Most of the staff comes in on buses or bikes from the surrounding parts of Jaipur. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making sure the clothes are made properly and sent out on time. There’s always a bit of a rush on Fridays to get the week’s work finished. Sometimes the fabric shipments are late, and we have to shuffle our schedule around. It’s just the reality of manufacturing in a place like this. We keep things honest and just try to do a decent job every day without any fuss.
