SNL Buildcon Private Limited is based out of Plot No 122 in Shiv Vihar Colony, over in the Gokul Pura area of Jhotwara. If you know Jaipur, you know Jhotwara can get really crowded with traffic, especially near the main roads. Our spot is a bit more tucked away, which is nice when things get hectic. We have a few desks and a lot of paper everywhere because there is always something to sign or a map to look at. The guys come in and out all day, usually covered in some bit of dust from whatever site they were just visiting. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or anything like that, just a regular place where we drink too much tea and try to stay organized. Building things is mostly about solving problems that pop up out of nowhere, like a pipe breaking or the sand being the wrong kind. We’ve been working around here for a bit and people know where to find us if they have questions about their own plots. It’s hard work and the days are long, especially when we are trying to finish up a job before the monsoon rains start. We aren't really into big talk; we just prefer to see the structures actually go up. Life here is mostly about managing the workers and making sure the supplies don't run out mid-week. It keeps us busy enough that we don't have time for much else.
