Sneh Metal Turners

We've been here at Road No 14 in VKIA for quite some time now. Sneh Metal Turners is mostly just us working with the lathes and getting the metal pieces shaped right. It gets pretty loud in the workshop when the machines are all running at once. Most days my clothes end up with oil stains on them but that's just how the job goes. We handle a lot of different metal parts here at H-1/22. Some people come in looking for specific bolts or custom turning work. The heat in Jaipur can be tough in the summer months especially with the heavy machinery going but we just keep at it. Sometimes a customer calls and says they need something done by tomorrow morning so we stay late. It's not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a solid place where we get the work done. You can find us right on the Badharna Road stretch. We try to keep things organized but there are always metal shavings on the floor. My hands stay rough from the tools. It’s hard work but it pays the bills. The neighborhood is mostly industrial so there’s always trucks moving around outside. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years. Some days the power goes out and we have to wait a bit. We don't really have a big staff just a few of us who know the machines well. It’s a simple living for us here. The work is dirty but honest.
