Small Wonders Academy

You will find Small Wonders Academy at 134, Shankar Nagar, right near Brahampuri and Amber Road in Jaipur. It’s an old part of the city, so the streets are narrow and usually full of people. Being so close to Amber Road means there is a lot of energy around us all the time. The school building is tucked into the block, giving the kids a bit of a refuge from the busy streets outside. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles here. The rooms are filled with the usual school stuff—posters, books, and plenty of noise when the classes are changing. We spend a lot of time managing the logistics of getting kids in and out through the traffic. Our staff is a small group, and we often have to wear many hats, from teaching to fixing a broken chair. It’s a very hands-on place. The walls have been painted a few times, but you can still see where the kids have left their marks. It’s not a perfect place, but it’s ours, and it works for the families in Shankar Nagar. We don't make big promises; we just provide a place for kids to be kids and learn their lessons. Every afternoon when the bell rings, the whole street fills up with uniforms and bags, and then we get ready to do it all again tomorrow. That is the life here at Small Wonders Academy.
