Our business is set up at number 68 in Shiv Vihar Colony, specifically on Road Number 5 in V.K.I. It’s more of an industrial area, so it’s not the quietest place to work, but it’s perfect for what we do with steel. We have a lot of heavy material moving in and out throughout the week. The yard is usually full of different steel beams and rods. We spend a lot of our time out there in the heat, making sure everything is stacked properly and safely. Our office is quite small and mostly used for keeping the ledger and taking calls. We don't really have a big staff, just a few guys who aren't afraid of a bit of hard work. Most of our customers are from the nearby industries or construction sites around the colony. They know they can just drop by and see what we have in stock. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a yard and a small workspace. Sometimes the dust from the road gets everywhere, but that’s just part of being in V.K.I. We focus on getting the right steel to the right people. We don't use any complicated systems, just pen and paper mostly, and a lot of talking to people face to face. It’s an honest way to make a living and we’ve been doing it like this for years now. We just take things as they come.
