Rahul Fashions

Rahul Fashions is located at G1-38 in the Sitapura Industrial Area. It’s mostly sewing machines and stacks of fabric around here. We’ve been in this building for a long time. You can hear the rhythmic clicking of the needles from the street sometimes. We don't have a boutique or a place to try on clothes. It’s a production floor. A lot of the staff have been living in the area and working here for years. We do a lot of cutting, stitching, and checking for loose threads. It gets a bit crowded when we have a big order of shirts or dresses to finish by the end of the month. The tables are always covered in scraps of cloth and spools of thread. We don't do much in the way of fancy branding. We just focus on the patterns and making sure the sizes are right. Usually, there’s a radio playing in the background to keep everyone moving through the afternoon slump. It’s a lot of manual work. We aren't some big high-end fashion house. We are just a local garment unit trying to keep the machines running and the orders moving. It’s a busy life, but we like the hum of the shop and seeing the finished pieces boxed up. We just hope the electricity stays on so we can finish the daily quota.
