We are located at H-647 in the Riico Industrial Area, over in Sitapur. It’s a bit out of the way if you’re coming from the city center, but this is where the actual manufacturing happens. The unit at H-647 is a plain building. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, you’ll find one of us in the back near the machines or sitting at a desk covered in papers. We make tools, and it’s a dusty, noisy kind of job most days. Sitapur gets quite hot in the summer, so we have the fans running constantly. We’ve been in this industrial area for a good while now. We know the guys at the neighboring factories, and we often help each other out with odd supplies or advice. It’s a very down-to-earth environment. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity with polished brochures. We just focus on making things that work. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years because they know what to expect. There are piles of metal and crates waiting to be shipped out all over the place. It’s a bit messy, but it’s a real workshop. We just do our work, pack the orders, and try to get home before the traffic gets too bad. That’s pretty much our daily life at Simond Tools. It is honest work and we like it that way.
