Shri Vishwakarma Travels

Our shop is number 11 in Roshan Market. It’s a busy little corner of Vaishali Nagar, specifically in the Gandhipath Chitrakoot area. Shri Vishwakarma Travels is a small operation. We have one main room where we handle all the bookings. The market stays pretty crowded, so there is always noise from the street, but you get used to it after a week or two. We have a small desk where the paperwork gets done. Most of the time, the paperwork is just a pile of receipts and a calendar with names scribbled on it. We don't use any fancy software, just a pen and a notebook. It works for us. My uncle used to run a similar business, and he taught me how to manage the timings. We deal with all sorts of requests, from short trips across town to weekend outings. The cars are usually parked just a short walk away. We check the tires and the oil ourselves most mornings. It's practical work. Sometimes the tea guy brings over a tray and we sit for a minute to breathe. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Jaipur. We just want to make sure that when someone asks for a ride, we have a driver ready to go. It is a decent way to spend the day. Usually, we close up once the last car is accounted for and the sun goes down.
