Shri Shyam Travels

We started Shri Shyam Travels a while back at A-54, Rajasthan Poilce Academy Road. It is right there in Bani Park. Our office is a simple place near Nehru Nagar and Panipech. Most days it is just us answering the phone and checking on the drivers. The heat in Jaipur gets pretty bad in the summer, so we spend a lot of time making sure the AC in the cars is working right. People come to us when they need to get to the station or maybe go out of town for a wedding. We don't have a big fancy website or anything like that. It is mostly people from the neighborhood who know our name. Sometimes the traffic near the police academy gets backed up, but we know the side lanes to get the cars out on time. My brother and I run the desk mostly. We keep a ledger for the bookings. It’s a lot of paperwork sometimes. We try to keep the cars clean because the dust here is a constant battle. You might see our vehicles parked near the academy road in the mornings. We aren't a huge corporation, just a local group trying to make a living. Usually, we are open early because people have early flights or trains to catch. It’s a quiet spot most of the time, except when the school buses go by. We just focus on getting people where they need to go without much fuss.
