We've been at the 5th Choraha near Dariwala Ki Masjid for a long time now. People usually find us down Ghee Wala Rasta in the middle of Johri Bazar. It’s a busy spot, always something happening outside the shop door. We deal with diamond tools every day. It's dusty work sometimes but someone has to do it. The tools are used for all sorts of cutting and polishing around here. We open up in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. Most of the people who come in are regulars who know exactly what they need for their workshops. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a counter and shelves full of stuff. If you're walking through the bazaar, you'll see us there. The traffic is usually a mess, so most people just walk. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but the way we do things stays mostly the same. We just keep the tools stocked and help out whoever walks in. It's a simple way to make a living. Nothing too complicated about it. We just try to keep the right bits and blades on hand for the local workers. Sometimes it's quiet, sometimes it's a madhouse with all the shoppers, but that's just how life is in Jaipur G P O area. We're just a small part of the noise.
