If you walk down Station Road, you’ll find us right under the Jai N Mandir. It’s a very busy spot because of the temple and the police station across the street. Being near the Sada Thana means there’s always something happening outside our door. It’s noisy and crowded, but that’s just life on Station Road. I’ve spent more hours in this little office than I have at home some weeks. The building is old and the stairs can be a bit steep, but it works for us. We handle a lot of people coming straight from the railway station who just want to get to their hotel or see a bit of the city. I don't use any fancy software to keep track of things; I still prefer my paper diaries for the bookings. Sometimes I forget where I put my pen, which drives my assistant crazy. We have a few regular drivers who have been with us for years now. They know the roads better than anyone. We don’t promise anything we can’t actually do. If a car is stuck in traffic, I tell people it’s stuck. There’s no point in lying about it. The tea around here is pretty good, so that’s a plus. It’s just a normal travel business, trying to stay busy and keep the cars moving through the Jaipur traffic every day.
