Shree Metals

Shree Metals is located at Station Road 111-A. It’s a busy spot because of the station being so close, so there’s always noise from the trains and people rushing by. We’ve been at this address for a while now. The building is an old one, with a heavy iron shutter that we roll up every morning at eight. We deal in different types of metals, mostly scraps and industrial pieces that come in on trucks. It’s a bit of a dusty environment, and your hands stay dirty most of the day from handling the stock. There’s a small desk in the back where we keep the books and a jar of pens that half-work. We don't do anything fancy. People bring us stuff, or they come to buy what we've collected. We weigh everything on a big scale that we had calibrated last year. It’s a straightforward business. No one here wears a suit. We wear old shirts and heavy boots because you never know when something might drop. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit backed up and it’s hard to walk through the aisles, but we clear it out eventually. We aren't a big corporation, just a local metal yard trying to do honest work. If the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just sit outside on the stools and wait for it to come back. It’s just how things are on Station Road.
