A W Iron Works

You will find A W Iron Works at Church Road, Kalyanji Ka Rasta, 3531. Our workshop is a place where we deal with iron and steel every day. It’s a noisy environment with the sound of grinders and welding machines going almost all the time. We make things like gates, window grills, and small iron frames. The air usually smells like burnt metal and the floor is never really clean because of the sparks and filings. We don't have an office where you can sit down in the AC. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us with our sleeves rolled up, working on a piece of metal. We use some old-fashioned tools along with our welding gear. We don't use any fancy design software. Most of the time, we just take a piece of chalk and draw the plan on the floor or on a workbench. It’s practical work and it requires a lot of patience to get the joints right. We have a small team and we've been in this location for quite a while. Our customers are mostly local people who need something sturdy for their homes. We don't do any marketing. We just let our work speak for itself. The building is a bit cramped and it gets very hot in the summer, but we are used to it. We just focus on finishing one job before moving to the next.
