Our factory, Accurate Ball Industries Pvt. Ltd., is situated at F-530 on Road No. 6-D in the V.K.I. Area. If you know Jaipur at all, you know how busy the Vishwakarma Industrial Area gets during the day. We spend our time making steel balls, which sounds simple enough until you see all the steps involved. The machines are constantly humming and clicking as they process the metal. It’s a lot of repetitive work, and you have to keep a close eye on the machines to make sure they’re staying within the right sizes. The floor is always a bit slippery with the oil we use to keep everything cool. I spend half my day out there and the other half trying to get the shipping labels printed correctly. We have boxes stacked up everywhere, waiting to go out to different parts of the country. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. The heat in the summer is pretty brutal, but we have some big fans that help a little bit. We’re not a huge corporation or anything; we’re just a group of people trying to keep the production lines moving. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish an order, especially if one of the machines decides to act up. It’s just the usual industrial grind. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and we’re just used to the noise and the pace of it.
