Shree Krishna Steel & Glass Fabrication

Out here in Mansarovar, near Bhanwar Nagar, we do a lot of steel and glass work. You’ll find us on N S Road at number 66. It’s a bit of a cramped space with all the sheets of glass leaning against the walls. We have to be careful walking around. Steel fabrication is messy, so there’s always sparks flying in the back of the shop. We make window frames, railings, and sometimes custom stuff for local shops. Glass is tricky to handle, so we don't rush. We’ve had a few breaks over the years, but you learn from that. People from the neighborhood stop in to ask for small fixes. A broken pane or a wobbly gate. We do those too. It’s not all big projects. The air smells like burnt metal and cutting oil. We usually have the radio playing in the background. It keeps the energy up during the day. We don’t have a website or anything like that. Just the sign out front and our phone number. Sometimes the delivery truck blocks the whole road while unloading. The neighbors are used to it by now. We work until the sun goes down, sometimes a bit later if a job is due. It’s just honest labor. We’ve been at this address for a good while. Every day is a bit different depending on what people need. We keep the shop open late on Saturdays.
