Shree Jai Enterprises

Our place, Shree Jai Enterprises, sits right in Sanghi. We are situated directly opposite the Cts Bus Stand, which is lucky because there’s always a crowd. If you walk past the Sanghi Ji Jain Mandir, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s a busy corner of the world. Between the buses pulling in and the people going to the mandir, there is constant movement. Our shop is where we spend all our time. It’s a simple building. We don’t have air conditioning or anything fancy, just a few fans and our stock. Most days are spent checking inventory and talking to the drivers who stop by. The sound of the bus horns is basically our background music. It can be a bit dusty being so close to the road, but that’s part of the job. We keep the doors open so people can see we’re inside. Sometimes someone will come in looking for directions to the temple, and we help them out. We aren't a big corporation, just a local business trying to make things work in Sanghi. The space is a bit cramped because we have so much stuff packed in, but we know where everything is. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We’ve got a routine that works for us. Even when it’s hot out, we stay busy. Being right across from the bus stand means we never feel lonely.
