Kent Ro Kent Shoppe

If you go down New Sanganer Road to Ramdulara Colony, you’ll find us at number 1. That’s where Kent Ro Kent Shoppe is located. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with water purifiers and spare parts. We spend a lot of our time explaining how the filters work to people who stop by. It can get repetitive, but it’s important. The shop has a large window that lets in a lot of dust from the road, so we are always wiping things down. We keep a diary on the counter to track all the service calls we have to make. Usually, one of us is out on a scooter going to someone's house to fix a machine. It's a busy life, especially during the summer when everyone wants cold, clean water. The floor is a bit uneven, so the display units sometimes wobble. We just put a bit of cardboard under the legs to steady them. We don’t have a fancy uniform or anything. We just wear what’s comfortable for working. Most people in the colony know us by name now. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the furniture. It’s not a big corporate chain, just a local shop where we try to help out with water problems. We’ll be here tomorrow, same as today.
