Down at Ajmer Road, inside the Mission Compound at 12/A, you will find our shop. Watech Ro System India Pvt Ltd. is the name on the papers, but we mostly just call it the shop. It is a bit of a maze to get into the compound if you haven't been here before. We have a lot of spare parts and filters sitting on the racks, and it usually smells a bit like plastic and copper wire. The ceiling fan wobbles a little when it is on the highest setting, making a clicking sound that we have all grown used to over the months. Most of our work involves tinkering with machines and checking tubes for leaks. It is honest work that keeps us busy from nine till six. We have a small plastic table where we eat our lunch and a calendar on the wall that is still stuck on last month because nobody remembered to flip the page. The light in the back room flickers sometimes, so we keep a torch handy just in case. It is a simple setup we have here on Ajmer Road. We aren't trying to be anything we are not. We just show up, do the tasks that need doing, and try to keep the place organized enough so we can find our tools. It gets dusty with all the traffic outside, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the counters.
