K K Impex

We’ve been based out of Malhotra Nagar 18 for quite some time now. Being right on VKIA Road No 1 means there is always noise from the traffic and trucks pulling in, but you get used to it after the first week. K K Impex isn't some corporate giant with glass walls and fancy carpets. It’s mostly just us in the warehouse, dealing with boxes and checking lists. We handle a lot of different items and the shelves stay pretty full most of the year. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to fix the squeaky door or reorganize the back corner where stuff tends to pile up. My brother handles the phone calls and I usually look after the loading area. We’ve had the same couple of guys helping us for years, so we all know how the routine goes without having to talk much. The street outside gets really muddy when it rains, and we have to be careful about the stock getting damp. It’s a lot of physical work, moving things around and making sure the labels are right. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People just find us through word of mouth or they see the sign when they're driving down the road. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we do. We try to be honest about what we can handle. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment comes in and we just order some food and keep going until it's finished.
