Shree Gopal Kitchen Ware

Shree Gopal Kitchen Ware is our little shop over in Malviya Nagar at 1/416. It’s a busy neighborhood, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. The shop is pretty full. We have stacks of plates, pressure cookers, and tiffins taking up almost every inch of space. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where we’ve put everything. If someone asks for a specific size of a frying pan, we can usually dig it out from the bottom of a pile pretty quickly. We don't have a computer to track what’s in the shop. We just look at the shelves and know what we need to order more of. My son helps me out on the weekends when he’s not busy with his studies. We get a lot of local people coming in, mostly folks who live in the nearby blocks. We like to chat with them about their families while they decide what to buy. We don't have any big sales pitches or fancy displays. The items just sit there on the shelves for people to see. It’s a simple life, and it keeps us occupied from morning till night. We close up around eight or nine and head home to eat. We aren't trying to compete with the big malls. We just like being the local shop where people find what they need for their kitchen.
