Shiv Power Tools

Our shop is tucked away in Bhindo Ka Rasta, which is part of the very busy Indira Bazar area near the Jaipur G P O. We are located inside Sankhla Bhawan. It is number 2658 if you are looking for the exact door on the street. The lanes around here are quite narrow and they are always full of people, motorcycles, and the occasional cow walking through. Shiv Power Tools is basically just one big room packed with heavy machinery and hand tools. It smells like metal and machine oil in here, which I guess is what you would expect from a place like this. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop where we sit every day. People mostly find us because they were already walking down the rasta. My father started this business, and now I am the one keeping the books and talking to the suppliers. It is a lot of daily work, and the paperwork often piles up on the old wooden desk in the corner. We spend a lot of time unboxing shipments that come in. Sometimes the trucks are late because of the terrible traffic in the bazaar. We don't mind much. We just sit on our stools and wait for them to arrive. It is a friendly place, even if it is a bit cramped for space. We know the neighbors well and the tea stall guy is a friend who brings snacks.
