Goyal Creation

Goyal Creation is tucked away in the Vijay Laxmi Complex, specifically at G(5) in Shiker House. We are right across from Jhule Lal Park, which is nice because we can see the trees and the people walking their dogs when we look out the front. The complex itself can be a bit of a maze if you have not been here before. We spend our days surrounded by fabric, sketches, and sewing machines. It is a bit of a tight squeeze in the shop once you get all the rolls of cloth and the cutting tables in there. We mostly do clothing work, and there is always a heap of scraps on the floor by the end of the day. The lighting inside is not the best, so we use some extra lamps to see the stitches. Being in Shiker House means we have neighbors doing all sorts of other businesses, so there is always some noise or someone popping in to borrow a stapler. We do not have a fancy window display. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they were visiting the park and decided to walk across. We just focus on getting the garments finished on time. It gets hectic around the holidays, but otherwise, it is a fairly predictable life. We like the local feel of the area. It feels like we are part of the neighborhood fabric here in the complex.
