Our office is at Cgs/38 in Nehru Place, which is right on Tonk Road. If you know Jaipur, you know Tonk Road is always moving. Nehru Place is a big commercial hub, so it’s always crowded with people going to work. We started this tour planning thing because we liked traveling ourselves. Now, we spend most of our time at our desks. We help people figure out their trips, mostly local tours or booking vehicles. It’s not as glamorous as it sounds. It involves a lot of sitting on the phone and arguing with drivers or checking hotel availability. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls. It’s a practical space. We’ve got some maps on the walls and a lot of diaries where we write things down. Sometimes the internet goes down and we have to do everything the old way. People just walk in from the street sometimes because they saw our sign while stuck in traffic on Tonk Road. We don't promise anyone the world. We just try to make sure they get a decent car and a driver who doesn't get lost. It’s a small team here. We know each other well. We don't do big corporate presentations. We just talk to people like normal human beings and try to help them get where they are going.
